BUTCHERBOX COLLABORATION
This past weekend our Junior Men guest rode for the Domestic Elite Butcherbox Cycling Team as part of a community building effort at the Tour of Somerville. One of our primary team goals is to develop riders, and this venture exactly pinpoints that aspect. There was considerably excitement and buzz from riders, spectators, and announcers.
Slyan Garrelts WON the Junior 9-14 event, with DEVIN SOMMERVILLE placing 4th.
For the Junior Men 15-18, Wolf Whalley was out top placing rider in 5th, Aidan Vollmuth, off his recent NJ State Criterium Champion ride the day before, placed 7th. All the riders finished in the lead group including Devin & Sylvan who had raved earlier in the day.
Agatha Ryan raced the Junior Women 15-18 taking 6th place.
Ian Moran & Patrick Dicus raced the Category 2/3, along with Rob Wing, Eddie Burlem, and David Sommerville participating in the Master 45+ race.
We look to continue this project with future events.
